Event details:

As Educa International is an Erasmus Consortium consisting of 24 universities in the Czech Republic, there is a wide range of study areas (International Relations, Business, Media, Medicine, Pharmacy, Pedagogy, Hotel Management, Scienes, Technical study fields etc.). The main purpose of our BIP is to widen and strengthen the cooperation with partner institutions, to share different experiences on work within the consortium in Europe, the diferrencies between the universities and consortia, traineeship and employability services, Alumni and Career services, usage of Europass documents, using ECTS in traineeships, to facilitate networking and establish new partnerships, developing possible future projects, to share best practices in joining traineeship and future career.

  • Present home university/company/consortium
  • Understand how consortium works
  • Discuss the differrencies for the administrative work within university and consortia
  • Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of being a part of the HEI consortium
  • Discuss the administration procedure of Erasmus+ mobilities within the universites/consortium
  • Discuss the usage of the EWP and dashboard
  • Discuss the Diversity and Inclusion within the administration of the Erasmus+ mobilities
  • Discuss the cooperation within the ESN branches in EU countries
  • Discuss the Mental Health questions especially during the Erasmus+ mobilities
  • Discuss the PR strategies and possibilities (ambassadors, social medias, podcasts etc.)
  • Recognition of the Erasmus+ mobilities and the usage Europass documents
  • Meet former participants of the Erasmus+ mobilities (trainees) who share their experience
  • Discuss how to cooperate with the Alumni and Career services
  • Networking and build new partnerships for Erasmus+ activities
  • Exploring Prague and Czech Culture

Note:

There is limited capacity of 15 participants, and we will prefer to ensure the most diverse group from different countries. Thus, we will not accept more than 2 people from the same institution.

COSTS: 100 € participation fee, which includes:

  • Official dinner on Monday
  • Daily lunches and coffee breaks from Tuesday to Thursday

Plane

The Václav Havel Airport Prague (former Prague - Ruzyně Airport) - 50 regular airlines connect Prague directly to about 130 destinations around the world. Prague airport is not far from the city centre and can be reached by bus or taxi.

Bus

There is a number of companies (Eurolines, Student Agency, etc.) providing luxury, air- conditioned buses. At present, you can travel to the Czech Republic by bus from practically any country in Europe.

Train

The Czech Republic Is well-connected with the European rail network with daily service to many European cities. For more details about travelling by bus and train within the Czech Republic and to neighbouring countries see www.idos.cz.

Car

The driver and all the passengers’ seatbelts must be fastened. Use of a mobile phone is not permitted while driving. There are highway vignettes in the Czech Republic. There is a zero tolerance for alcohol policy.

Taxi

One of the safest and least expensive solutions is to order a car through a taxi operator. The fares are usually much lower compared to hailing a taxi in the street (the difference can be up to 10 CZK / km).

Public transport

Tickets for public transport tickets can be bought at all metro stations and other locations. Basic tickets are also available at the newsagent‘s (“trafika” or “tabák” in Czech), info centres, ticket vending machines at selected tram and bus stops. The orange validation machines print the date and time on the ticket. From this time on the “validity period” of the ticket begins. The underground runs from 4-5 o ́clock in the morning until the midnight (depending on line). At night you can use night buses and trams which run every 20 minutes.
