In November 2018 Contact Seminar for adult learning institutions workers took place in Luxemburg. The main theme was: „Improving Access, Participation and Quality in Adult Learning“ and goal was improving the learning quality in the field and was attended by a huge participant group. Czech Republic was represented by Mr. Josef Vochozka, the director of Educa International, o.p.s., who was nominated by Erasmus+ program National Agency and his attendance was supported by Erasmus+ grant.
Organization of the event was on a high level thanks to NA LUX workers´ active approach. Accomodation and all events took place in Hotel Parc Bell-Vue konference center. There were 60 participants and 20 countries of EU involved, the largest number of local participants, 5 from Finland, 4 from Sweden, 3 from France and Ireland.
The atmosphere was really friendly and creative. Interest in presentation and also project cooperation was very high. Most of the participants were ready to cooperate within imigrats learning (especially language learning – France, Spain) and mentally challenged adults (Island, Croatia, Romania).
Little awareness about Erasmus+ rules was a certain shortcoming, and since some participants had a little information about the program rules, it complicated the discusion about possible cooperation topics. All the information will be used by Educa in Adult Learning field, especially in working with drop-outs. We would like to prepare a joint project with other seminar participants and use gained experience and personal contacts for the future cooperation.
