ADULT EDUCATION – GRUNDTVIG

The adult education project Educa was familiar with the work of similar institutions in working with young people without qualifications (leaving school) and planned to visit the three institutions abroad. In July 2016, held weekly journey to school in Lodz, Poland and familiarity with the form of young people . Another two ways to participate in the training were implemented in June 2017 and experience were used for working in Second Chance Schools.

The 1st visit of the project GRU KA1 was to FENIX ŁÓDŹ and GIMNAZIUM NIOLUBLICZNE STOWARZYSZENIA on 4-8/7/2016.

We have discussed the possibilities of a potential cooperation within the Erasmus+
-providing trainees exchange and further cooperation possibilities.
We’ve got to know the principles of the school’s approach to the students. Based on the values that every single student must be seen as an individual and therefore they communicate with every one of them in order to get to know his/hers background and life story. (They might be 17-years old and not be able to read and write).  All of their students have some issues with reading skills, maths or understanding skills.

Seeing the interaction with a big group of students in Łódź was an enriching experience.

The 2nd visit of the project GRU KA1 was SWEDEN, SCS in MALMÖ

We took part in the tuition, got to know the students and pedagogues in the school, social workers and the student advisor.
The result of the discussion about the potential project opportunities brought a wide range of suggestions for the future plans.
We have talked to the school’s principal and to Per Akerlind about the details and the preparation of a new project. (Cooperation of the universities and the Second Chance Schools CZ and SE)

THE RESULT – Proposal of an intersectional project KA2 based on the gained experience from Sweden and other countries about the functionality of the Second Chance Schools in Europe. We want to keep on raising the public awareness and practical activities in this area.
